According to the Legislative Decree Number 196 (Code of Protection of Personal Data Material) of June 30th, 2003, we would like to inform you that personal data voluntarily offered to LAV – Anti-Vivisection League, a non-profit organization (hereafter also referred to as "the Association"), will be treated with respect according to the legislation in force concerning the protection of personal data.
1. Purpose of Data Handling
The personal data offered to LAV will be used solely for informative and administrative purposes related to the provision of such information.
2. Process of Data Handling
In order to reach the indicated final purpose, the processing of personal data will be executed through appropriate paper and/or electronic instruments, with methods of statistical analysis, following logic strictly correlated to the end purpose, thus guaranteeing security, privacy and confidentiality.
3. Provision of data and consequences of a possible refusal
The provision of personal data is facultative. A possible refusal or the provision of inaccurate and/or incomplete information may result in the possible lack of corresponding result of the treatment of personal data according to the obligations set forth by the legislation in force.
4. Communication of data
Administrative branches of the Association, partners of the Animal Free Fashion Project, internal or external managers designated by the Anti-Vivisection League non-profit organization and those in charge of processing data named by the Association during the carrying out of their functions may see your personal data.
Your personal data may be communicated to LAV's collaborators who provide instrumental services for the indicated purpose. Your personal data may be transferred abroad according to the legislation in force when the Association pursues membership purposes.
5. Release of data
Your personal data will not be subject to release.
6. Rights of persons concerned
In accordance with the aforementioned processes, persons concerned may exercise the rights stated in Article 7 of the Legislative Decree of June 30th, 2003, No. 196 which follows below transcribed in its entirety:

ART. 7 – RIGHT TO ACCESS OF PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER RIGHTS
1. The person concerned has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data that regards him or her, or the lack thereof, even if he or she is not yet registered, and such communication must be in intelligible form.
2. The person concerned has the right to obtain information:
a) about the origin of personal data;
b) about the purposes and processes of handling;
c) about the logic applied in the case of handling carried out with the help of electronic instruments;
d)about the identification data of the holder, managers and designated representatives according to Article 5, comma 2;
e) about the subjects or category of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated or who may see such data as designated representatives, supervisors or those appointed in Italian territory.
3. The concerned has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, the correction or when desired the integration of data;
b) the cancellation, the transfer in anonymous form or the blockage of data treated in violation of the law, including that which was not necessary to conserve as related to the purpose for which the data were gathered or successively processed;
c) demonstration that the procedures in letters a) and b) were brought to the awareness, also as concerns their content, of those who were communicated or diffused data, except in the case in which such compliance would be impossible or would result in a responsibility of disproportional means with respect to the upheld right.
4. The concerned has the right to challenge, in whole or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons the processing of personal data that regards him or her, even if it is pertinent to the purpose of the collection;
b) the processing of personal data that regards him or her for the purposes of sending advertising or direct sales materials or for conducting market research or advertising .
7. Holder and managers of processing
The holder of processing is LAV – Anti-Vivisection League non-profit organization, with headquarters in Rome (RM), Viale Regina Margherita no. 177. Any request relative to personal data processed by LAV– Anti-Vivisection League non-profit organization can be sent to the company's headquarters or by writing to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. The updated list of managers is available from the Association and can be obtained through specified request in the manner indicated in Point 6.
